The sharpness of the camera’s lens, its distance from the original, the quality of the light, and the color gamut of the film all play a part in degrading the final result. Bradbury images are created with no photographic intervention.

Every Bradbury image is electronically scanned and digitally captured directly from an antique or fine art original. Every image is reviewed and worked to eliminate conspicuous damage and guarantee that it will print as an indistinguishable copy of the original.

Most inexpensive prints are printed on an offset press. This process requires the image to be broken down into a series of small halftone dots which is then printed using a four color ink process. This process, while good, is less than perfect at representing low saturation, low intensity colors.

Every Bradbury print is generated individually upon demand as an eight-color inkjet print, using Ultra Chrome K3 pigments. With its expanded color gamut this breakthrough system, can produce images that are more accurate to the original than any other ink system currently in use.

In addition to their superb reproductive quality Ultra Chrome K3 inks have improved print permanence characteristics that provide moisture resistance and a light fastness rating that guarantees them against loss and fading for up to 108 years for color and more than 200 years for black and white.

Every Bradbury image is printed on archival, 100% cotton rag, acid and lignin free, paper, which is guaranteed to never degrade or discolor.

Together the process and products used to produce each Bradbury pint are perfectly matched and expertly executed to provide the best combination of quality and longevity and both are completely guaranteed unconditionally and for a lifetime. Should any print fade or discolor or in any way lose its original condition it will be replaced free of charge.
